Invercargill City Councillor Nobby Clark wants Rugby Park action


A section of the Rugby Park grandstand in Invercargill which is largely off limits at the moment. An Invercargill City Councillor will ask for certain parts of Rugby Park to be re-opened by the end of June, despite the council chief executive indicating it is not possible. Rugby Southland's offices, as well as the Rugby Southland Supporters Club clubrooms, were closed to the public last year after toxic mould was found in those spaces. Kavinda Herath Invercargill City Councillor Nobby Clark will table a motion asking for the council chief executive Clare Hadley to ensure the toxic mould is removed by June 30. Hadley had initially indicated to Rugby Southland and the Supporters Club that they would be able to return to its rooms at Rugby Park by June 30.
