KARACHI: Ishtiaq Ahmed, the father of Intezar Ahmed along with his son’s friend, Madiha Kyani appeared before the new joint investigation team (JIT) here on Monday. Madiha Kayani who was accompanying Intizar at the time of the incident also recorded her statement with the JIT today. Intezar’s father showed CCTV pictures and videos of the incident to the JIT and asked them if it looked like a targeted killing. Earlier, on Jan 26, Ishtiaq and Kayani had recorded their statements before the first JIT formed to probe the case as well. The six-member JIT includes South Zone Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Azad Khan, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) officers, Sindh Rangers, Sindh Intelligence Branch (IB), Special Branch and Military Intelligence (MI).
