Interpol joins hunt for Innisfil man suspected of trafficking fentanyl

Interpol, the world’s largest police intelligence agency, has joined the hunt for an Innisfil fugitive suspected of fentanyl trafficking. Wojciech Joseph Grzesiowski, 40, has been on the run since November, when he was named as part of an international drug ring that mistakenly admitted a police agent into its ranks. Interpol has placed Polish-born Grzesiowski on its “red list” of most-wanted criminals, sharing information on him with 192 member countries. Grzesiowski’s one of nine alleged GTA mobsters who have been charged in a sweeping investigation called of Project OTremens into the fentanyl trade in southwestern Ontario and New York. The FBI in New York City conducted a connected operation that led to charges against alleged members of the Bonanno and Gambino families.
