An internationally recognized photojournalist was arrested on Tuesday afternoon as police, security and city officials worked to clear homeless encampments at Trinity Bellwoods Park. Willms told the Star that police said he would be charged with trespassing, obstruction and causing a disturbance, but was released upon reaching the police station. He was also told he wasn’t allowed to go back to the park and would be fined if he did. After a day-long police presence in the park, Willms was one of several people arrested. Loading... Loading...
