London-based clothing line Superdry opens its flagship store in Auckland's Queen Street on Thursday. The brand is hugely popular overseas for its streetwear fashion – a blend of Japanese-inspired graphics and vintage Americana styling. Tristan Fewings The brand was started out of the boot of a car in central London in 2003. Superdry follows a recent burst of international retailers setting up shop in New Zealand, including Ikea, TopShop and H&M, a retail strategist said. The new Superdry store will be located at 101 Queen St, and will stand as the flagship location.
