The Special Cell of Delhi Police has busted an international drug cartel and arrested two persons in possession of 4 kg heroin worth Rs 16 crore in the international market. "The arrestees have been identified as Darbara Singh alias Billa, 48, and Ajay alias Sandeep Singh, 19, residents of village Lakh Pur in Punjab. Billa is involved in eight criminal cases, including six cases registered under the NDPS Act. He was convicted in three NDPS cases in Punjab and was awarded a punishment for 32 years with a fine of Rs 3 lakh. An Alto car with a Punjab registration number and three mobile phones with SIM cards, used in drug trafficking, were also recovered, the police said.
