Women's health collective manager Jean Hera continues to battle to keep the trusted centre open. Support for Te Hā o Hine-ahu-one, the women’s health collective in Palmerston North, has stretched around the world from London. The New Zealand Women’s Association, a group of ex-pats living in England, has made a $1000 donation to the health service which has been struggling since the MidCentral District Health Board cut its $90,000 annual contract two years ago.
