Right in front of New York's famous Charging Bull appeared another unusual - for Wall Street - sculpture: "The Fearless Girl". An artistic bronze statue in the shape of a young girl in a defiant pose faces the iconic "Wall Street Bull", which symbolizes aggressive financial freedom and prosperity. But what does the Fearless Girl stand for and which message does it want to send out to the world? With this surprising campaign for Wednesday's International Women's Day, leading Asset Managers, State Street Global Advisors, call on 3,500 companies, representing more than $30 trillion in market capitalization, to increase the number of women on corporate boards. The bronze sculpture titled "The Fearless Girl” has been created by US-American artist Kristen Visbal on behalf of State Street Global Advisors.
