The International Conference “Governance and Sustainable Development” held by the Institute of National Planning on 3-4 June, discussed various types of governance, which are not just about institutions, but also about their quality and efficiency. It’s not only about educating people about governance and sustainable development. Good governance requires a proper dissemination of information supported with free circulation as well. Besides, flexibility, inclusiveness, preparedness, responsiveness, responsibility, cooperation, and transparency are essential factors in achieving good governance and in combating corruption. Artificial intelligence, awareness-raising, capacity-building, and youth empowerment all play an important role in having good governance.
