Farish­ta’s family member­s thanks interi­or minist­er for his cooper­ationISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Ijaz Ahmad Shah visited Farishta’s bereaved family on Thursday, and assured them of every possible means of support. Offering condolences to the family of the 10-year old child who was brutally gang-raped, tortured and murdered in the capital. Shah said that the forensic report and other facts and realities regarding the heinous crime would be made public soon. The minister said the federal police would not rest until the case was brought to an end. Farishta’s family members thanked the interior minister for his cooperation and complained that some elements had politicised the brutal murder of the minor.
