Egypt's Interior Ministry said Friday that one takfiri and three of his companions were killed on Thursday nightin Giza, in Bani Magdol area, in an exchange of fire with security forces. The forces had raided a meeting of the suspects while they were planning hostile action against the state. A statement from the ministry said the main suspect, called Sameh Farahat, had been holding meetings at this same location to plan for a large-scale hostile action during the upcoming period. The cell had also been planning the assassination judges and other police officers. The force then responded to the source of the fire, and the exchange continued for 30 minutes, killing four of the suspects.
