DHAKA, Nov 18, 2024 (BSS) - Adviser for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain said the interim government has taken responsibility of carrying out state reform in line with the aspiration of people of the country. The adviser said the people of the country are united to extend their support to the government for performing state reform work to build a new Bangladesh, said a press release here today. The commonwealth assistant secretary-general has assured to provide support to the interim government. During the meeting, youth and sports secretary Md Rezaul Maksud Zahedi and acting secretary of LGRD division Md Nazrul Islam were present. Prof Luis Gabriel Franceschi is on a four-day visit to Bangladesh to hold discussions with various dignitaries of the interim government.
