Meanwhile Youth and Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa told media last week that he would be compelled to appoint an interim committee to run the affairs of Sri Lanka’ cricket if the present disappointing situation is to worsen in future. Many historically rival factions have got together against the present SLC administration to challenge them in a united front if the elections are to be held in May.
