Photo: MoFADHAKA, March 2, 2026 (BSS) – An inter-ministerial meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today to review the sprouting situation in the Middle East and assess its implications for Bangladesh, particularly in aviation, expatriate welfare and regional security. Minister for Labour and Employment and Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Ariful Haque Chowdhury, MP, State Minister Md. Nurul Haque, MP, and State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism M. Rashiduzzaman Millat were also present. The meeting underscored the government’s commitment to maintaining close monitoring of the situation and ensuring inter-agency coordination to respond promptly to any emerging challenges.
