Sanchez is on loan at the San Siro until the end of the season but has struggled to make an impact for the Nerrazurri. The 31-year-old's time in Milan has been blighted by injuries, and he now finds himself out of favour with boss Antonio Conte. The total cost of the loan agreement will see Inter fork out £4.3m by the time it reaches its end. Sanchez has started just twice in the Serie A since making the switch to Italy in August. The Norwegian manager said in January: "Alexis will come back in the summer and prove you all wrong."
