The woman, 24, is back in prison again, after her family claims Waitematā District Health Board (DHB) refused to accept her as a mental health patient. A father is distraught his intellectually disabled daughter is back in an Auckland prison. She has been diagnosed with various mental health issues and developmental disorders, including autism, psychosis and most recently, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. They claim the prison time is because Waitematā District Health Board (DHB) will not accept her as a mental health patient.
