Intel to join Musk on Terafab, lifting shares by 4.2%


Intel would help the Terafab project “refactor” the technology in a chip factory, the company said on Tuesday in a post on X, Musk’s social media platform. Intel Corp Chief executive officer Lip-Bu Tan speaks during a news conference on the sidelines of the Computex conference in Taipei on May 19, last year. “Terafab represents a step change in how silicon logic, memory and packaging will get built in the future,” Intel chief executive officer Lip-Bu Tan (陳立武) said in a separate X post. Musk said last month that the Terafab project would be built in Austin, Texas, and jointly run by Tesla and SpaceX. He serves as chief executive officer at both companies.
