Insurers such as AMI Insurance NZ, State Insurance NZ and AA Insurance Ltd. received more than 6,000 claims as of Jan. 29 for property damage and flooded vehicles due to ongoing torrential rains and flash floods in Auckland, Asia Insurance Review reported citing stuff.co.nz. The full extent of the damage is expected to become clearer over the coming days.
