So, on the Friday before the big game, just before closing time, this silly press release arrived in my email, and I couldn't resist: The Insurance Industry Predicts Super Bowl LIII Winner. Professionals from around the insurance world picked the Patriots to win their sixth Super Bowl by a 2-to-1 margin, according to the Academy of Insurance, an online learning center for property/casualty insurance professionals. I don't know how these numbers are any more relevant than a poll of any other industry in the country, but here is how the insurance industry poll results break down.
