A New York state financial regulator has asked the Trump Organization’s longtime insurance broker for documents and internal communications pertaining to its dealings with President Trump’s businesses, according to a person familiar with the matter. On Monday, the New York state Department of Financial Services subpoenaed insurance brokerage Aon PLC for the information, the person said. This included internal communications and correspondence dating to 2009, according to the person.
