Instead of calmly mapping out their respective plans for creating jobs, growing the economy and creating greater opportunities for Americans, they engaged in petty squabbles. There was basically no attempt at all to assuage any concerns that the candidates are seriously thinking of the job market and economy. It was a missed opportunity to use this time to launch their respective economic plans with Bloomberg on the stage. Hopefully, the next debate will focus on the presidential hopefuls’ plans to keep growing the economy and creating more jobs.
