During the opening keynote of Facebook's F8 developers conference in California, Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri said the new feature will be initially tested in Canada. Mosseri also said that Instagram has made follower counts much less prominent in the new design of the profile, which it is currently testing. Social media researcher Jane Manchun Wong, who discovered the code, shared a screenshot of the interface on Twitter . One big concern, however, is that influencers often get discovered for paid promotions or have their sponsored content measured by public like counts. Instagram acknowledged that hiding the like count could make life difficult for these influencers.
