The service looks and feels like X, formerly Twitter, but won’t allow extreme content or users who are regularly associated with conspiracy theories or racist views. The new Threads platform is designed to import data from Instagram, including behavioural and advertising information. It looks a lot like X, with a timeline with fairly short updates punctuated by photos and videos. It’s easy to post, easy to repost and easy to reply, like or block.
