Almost a year ago, when the world was a very different place, I was invited to present The Prince’s Trust Young Achiever Award to a young man called Hezron at The Daily ­Mirror Pride of Britain Awards. This was a very proud moment for me, as I have been an Ambassador for The Prince’s Trust for many years. I have seen how young people can overcome even the greatest of ­challenges when someone believes in them – which is exactly what The Prince’s Trust does for tens of thousands of young people every year. An intervention by foster parents and the Prince’s Trust helped Aisa to turn her life around. Rebecca, 32, joined the Prince’s Trust Enterprise programme in 2018, for help setting up Always B U, a fashion brand that empowers victims of violence.
