Kathryn Cartwright lived with leukaemia before she died peacefully in hospital, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, January 18. Kathryn's last tweet, on January 8, said she had been in "agony" all day and asked: "What is this bug?" Seven years later she posted a stark selfie saying 'F**k cancer' after she fell out of a wheelchair, badly bruising her face. Kathryn said she thought about death "a lot" and said: "It is sad but I am more concerned for my family. "This infection is going to take a long time to shift, and in the long term, there isn't really a plan yet."
