Two recent reports continue to shed light on insider attacks. Haystax finds that 74% said they feel vulnerable to insider attacks with 54% saying insider attacks have become more frequent in the last year. Verizon also found that insider threats were taking longer to discover with a shift from days to months between 2014 and 2015. Means: Who is committing these insider attacks? Another reason for insider attacks cited by Haystax was lack of collaboration between departments -- 48% cited this reason.
