Ego, emotion, and intangibles (such as not having a certain "look" or not being "cool" enough) carry far more weight in the celebrity world than they do in the mainstream. In celebrity world, appearance often trumps substance. It all boils down to your relationship with the boss (your celebrity client) and the level of trust. Or he could be (as so many are in the celebrity world) hired based on physical size and appearance as opposed to professional competency.
