He was the first England captain to win a World Cup – the Twenty20 version in the Caribbean in 2010 – as well as a member of victorious England Ashes squads in 2009 and 2011. He’s made himself close to the pair, just as he did Kevin Pietersen and Andrew Flintoff in his England playing days.
