Marchesi Antinori, a historic winemaking company, has stayed in business for over 630 years. Alessia Antinori, vice president and 26th generation of Marchesi Antinori, says the Italian winemaking company has continued to be successful by both adapting to contemporary times and staying true to tradition. In addition to winemaking, Marchesi Antinori also boasts an on-site art museum, complete with works by Leonardo da Vinci and Giovanni Della Robbia, at the Marchesi Antinori Chianti Classico Cellar winery in Bargino. Antinori oversees the museum area and contemporary art installations as part of the Antinori Art Project, which supports contemporary artists. As for the family’s key to success: “Humility, integrity, quality and great passion are all important factors in the longevity of my family’s company,” Antinori says.
