Inside Forbes: The Old Dog (Print) Teaches The New Dog (Digital) A Trick


London, Paris, Zurich--and Cannes for the giant digital ad festival--are not exactly off-Broadway, but they don't compare to the size and scope of the New York ad market. One of my big goals this year is to develop premium digital editorial experiences that mesh with premium digital ad experiences. In 2010, we enabled every staff reporter (and every contributor, too) to publish to a digital page under his or her own name. Brand marketers know a thing or two about their industries as well, so for a fee we offered them a nearly identical digital page, labeled BrandVoice. So, the old dog (print) taught the new dog (digital) a trick.
