Injury concerns amid joy of int’l return

Bangaldesh are set to return to international cricket for the first time since Covid-19 put the world at a halt. And ahead of the restart, Bangladesh Cricket Board think-tank will be dealing with a few injury concerns in the Test squad. BCB chief physician Dr Debashish Chowdhury is optimistic of having Mominul and Nayeem available for the two-match Test series against the Windies. The West Indies are scheduled to reach Dhaka on January 10 and will undergo Covid-19 testing on the first, third, sixth or seventh day after their arrival in the country. The West Indies will be allowed to have local net bowlers in their practice sessions.
