A naked woman was found injured on a downtown St. John's street early Tuesday, and she and a man are both facing charges. The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary was called to the Springdale Street area around 4 a.m. and found the injured woman in the road. She told police she had been held against her will and assaulted by a man she knew. Officers obtained an arrest warrant for a 42-year-old man for charges of assault causing bodily harm and breaching court orders. Meanwhile, the 36-year-old woman was arrested and is facing charges for a number of breaches, and was held for a provincial court appearance.
