A judge in Calgary has granted an injunction blocking a weekend rodeo that was planned in protest of COVID-19-related public health restrictions and Alberta Premier Jason Kenney, dismissing the organizers' argument that it would be a political rally. "There's very little to contest," said Alberta Health Services lawyer Kyle Fowler. "The premier, cabinet ministers and staffers were photographed in an outdoor venue breaching a number of public health orders," said Cameron. After the injunction was imposed against his clients, Cameron put on the record that all Albertans are subject to the public health and court orders.
