Meanwhile, the country's production price index in June dropped 1.1 per cent compared to the same period last year, reflecting a drop of 2.2 per cent in industrial production. “The strong Baht strong has had an effect on import product prices, especially energy prices, as a result of the production price index falling,” the ministry said.
