Inflation eases to 8.4 per cent in July


Share:ISLMABAD - Inflation rate in Pakistan has eased to 8.4 per cent in the month of July due to decline in food prices. In the recent months, the inflation rate is on a declining trend. The ministry had projected inflation rate in the range of 7.5 to 9 percent for July. The decisions of increasing petrol and LPG prices would fuel the inflation rate in the country. The break-up of inflation of 8.4 percent showed that food and non-alcoholic beverages prices increased by 8.24 percent.
