Officer-in-charge of Dhaka railway police station Rakib Ul Hossain confirmed the matter. He said the child was found wrapped in a cloth at the base of pillar no 20 of platform no 7 of the railway station at 11:30 pm on Monday. Then she was rescued from there and her guardians were nowhere to be found. The child is currently under the care of Sumaiya Akhter, a female constable of Dhaka railway police station's women, children, adult and disabled Service Desk.
