LUCKNOW: UP police on Monday noon lodged an FIR against railway employees in connection with the Pukhrayan rail accident. GRP (government railway police) station officer of Bhimsen, under whose jurisdiction the accident took place, lodged a suo-moto FIR.As a lot of accident survivors had complained of some kind of technical lapse in one of the coaches, it appeared that railway officials had overlooked safety concerns. Both technical and infrastructure-related hazards will be accounted for during the course of the probe. "Gupta said the train driver on duty and other railway staff members will be questioned. "Everything is documented in the railway records and we will cross check the facts," added Gupta.
