The Government of the Republic of Indonesia will host the 2023 World Hydropower Congress alongside its electricity utility PLN and the International Hydropower Association in Bali in October of this year. We are therefore delighted to bring the world together at this year’s Congress.”The World Hydropower Congress is the flagship event for decision-makers within and outside the hydropower industry to address how sustainable hydropower can help ensure energy security and reach global net-zero emissions. The Congress is organised every other year by the International Hydropower Association, the global voice for sustainable hydropower. The Government of Indonesia’s hosting of the World Hydropower Congress follows their successful G20 Presidency in 2022.
