A number of indigenous writers have published books on their culture and heritage at the month-long book fair. These books, portraying their distinctive lifestyles and traditions, have added a new flavour to the month-long book fair. A visitor and ethnic booklover, Romentu Chakma, said: “Concerned authorities have to keep an eye on the development and preservation of indigenous mother tongues.
