The GDP growth was 6.1 per cent in January-March in 2016-17. "GDP growth has been increasing continuously every quarter with growth of 7.7 per cent in Q4 of 2017-18. "I don't think we are revising our forecast for the current year 2018-19 which was indicated at 7.5 per cent. Manufacturing sector GVA grew at 9.1 per cent in fourth quarter up from 6.1 per cent year ago. The healthy growth numbers and rising crude oil prices will weigh on the six members of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC).
