Another Indian student, the deceased’s roommate, has been admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital or CMCH with injuries. Both were students of the University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC), the police say. They have identified the deceased as Asif Sheth, 26, and the injured as ‘Wilson’, 26. Both were brought to CMCH in the wee hours of Saturday, but doctors declared Asif brought dead, said the hospital police outpost’s Nayek Md Hamid. Hamid told bdnews24.com that another Indian student named Miraz Guru, who attends the USTC as well, had brought the two with help of others around 1:15am.
