While the Indian Ministry of External Affairs has yet to respond to Beijing’s statement, Indian academics and politicians expressed support over Taiwan and India’s relationship on X, while criticizing China. Taiwan is committed to building partnerships with India “underpinned by mutual benefit and shared values,” it said.
