An Indian medical student studying in Chittagong has been killed during a dispute with his roommate in the city. Ateef Sheikh, 24, an Indian national of Monipuri ethnicity, was a final-year medical student at University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC). Ateef shared the flat with three other Indian medical students studying at USTC. “During the fisticuffs, Ateef’s throat was hit with something sharp that caused severe bleeding.”Ateef were rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where he was pronounced dead. SI Jashimuddin said Winson, who is also of Monipuri ethnicity, was also injured and taken to CMCH with strangle marks on his neck.
