Indian man arrested after making Rs50 lakh by duping Amazon

A 21-year-old Indian man has been arrested after making nearly Rs50 lakh (Tk63 lakh) by duping e-commerce giant Amazon. He made nearly Rs50 lakh between April and May by doing the same thing repeatedly before Amazon realised that they were being cheated and Shivam was arrested, reports the NDTV. He came up with the idea of duping Amazon in March and ordered two phones from Amazon. Shivam used these phone numbers to place orders and would give an incorrect address in the locality. However, police seized 19 mobile phones, Rs12 lakh in cash and 40 bank passbooks and cheques from Shivam’s home.
