Indian Entrepreneurs to Visit EthiopiaAugust 15, 2017 - A team of Indian entrepreneurs representing different industrial segments will visit Ethiopia for exploring the possibilities of setting up production bases in Ethiopia and utilize the preferential tariff advantages which Ethiopia enjoys in global markets. The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) – Tirupur chapter will be coordinating the journey to Ethiopia. “Ethiopia, as an investment destination, is said to be holding distinct advantages for the said three segments when the produces manufactured in Ethiopia get exported. This is because of the many trade advantages Ethiopia has in advanced markets like United States”, he said. “The visit will help the interested businessmen to get a first had experience of the situations in Ethiopia”, said Mr. Venkatesh.
