During her segment, a Republican from Nevada called into the show and questioned whether she is a U.S. citizen. The congresswoman, who’s the first Indian-American woman to serve in the House of Representatives, tactfully responded. The TPS for Nepal was also terminated this year, affecting about 9,000 Nepalis, whose country was devastated by an earthquake in 2015.
