Both Kohli and Pujara created feats of their own. While the Delhi lad became the third Indian captain to cross the 150-run mark atleast thrice in Tests (200 vs West Indies, 211 vs New Zealand, 151* vs England), Pujara created an unique feet of scoring maximum number of centuries (3) on Indian venues debuting in Test cricket. Incidentally, before Thursday's century, Pujara had scored 101* against New Zealand at Indore and 124 against the English in the last match at Rajkot. The hosts were struggling on 22-2 when Kohli and Pujara came together. Playing his 50th test, Kohli, who was dropped on 56 at fine leg by Rashid off Stokes, pushed Anderson through the covers to register his 14th hundred.
