Share:ISLAMABAD - Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said India is playing a role as a peace spoiler in Afghanistan and supported various terror groups in Afghanistan against Pakistan, therefore Pakistan needs to be vigilant over the evolving situation in Afghanistan. “India is bent upon soiling the peace of the region and is engaged in acts to degrade Pakistan in the region, for which it would never succeed,” Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said in a statement issued to the media. To a question Foreign Minister Qureshi said effective border management measures are in place to cope with any eventuality from Afghanistan. Foreign minister said the Taliban leadership is in touch with all stakeholders on the evolving situation in Afghanistan including Pakistan. “If a positive message emanates from Kabul, it should be encouraged and welcomed,” foreign minister remarked.
