The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a new contract system and compensation structure for Indian Cricket on Wednesday. The BCCI have introduced two new grade systems with introduction of Grade A+ for Indian men's cricket and Grade C for Indian women's cricket team. The Indian cricket board has increased the salaries of both men's and women's cricket team. Grade A+: Rs 7 Cr, Grade A: Rs 5 Cr, Grade B: Rs 3 Cr, Grade C: Rs 1 Cr. However, the disparity in the monetary rewards between the India men's cricket team and the women in blue still continues.
