The High Commission said, Duruthu Poya Day, which marks the first visit of the Buddha to Sri Lanka from India, coincides with the arrival of 500,000 doses COVISHIELD vaccine from India. High Commission wished all a blessed Poya Day as well. The Covishield vaccine by the Serum Institute of India to be dispatched from Mumbai to Bahrain and Colombo today.
